Dr. Khan Gul Jadoon

Prof. Dr. Khan Gul Jadoon got his early education in a school of his native village Dhamtor Abbottabad. He did matric from High School Nawanshehr Abbottabad and F.Sc from Government College Abbottabad and then he did his B.Sc (Honors) with distinction from UET Peshawar. He got employment in UET Peshawar as a Lecturer. Since then, he was in UET Peshawar and worked in different capacities from Lecturer to Professor.
He won Commonwealth Scholarship in 1991 and he has completed PhD from UK. He was appointed chairman, Department of Mining Engineering, UET Peshawar in 2000. During the same year he won Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship which was for three months. In 2006, he won a commonwealth Fellowship from UK.
Among other important assignments at UET Peshawar, he remained secretary Board of Advanced Studies & Research, Director Admissions, Chief Editor Journal of Engineering & Applied Sciences, Project Director Gemstones Development Centre and Chairman Chemical Engineering.
His area of research interest remained occupational Safety in Mining and attended many national and International Conferences.
He was awarded Best Teacher award by HEC and Professional Excellence award by the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Presently Serving as the Director COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Abbottabad Campus.
